Alrighty, dear BigBrained and wildly entertaining pals o' mine!
For those of you who don't know, my dearDearDEAR pal Tina has been putting together a Seattle-based zine (The F-Bomb Zine) for weirdos n' futants - totally out of our demographic, right? Lest my swamp folk feel removed, there's a good contingency of contributions from dear ol' O-town...yours truly has a couple of columns ranging from dismantling the body to reintegrating the soul (complete with some roughly scribbled illustrations if there's room!), benthemad had penned 'going down on history', [not-quite-as-but-still-a-bit] angsty john has written a disturbing little tour through is last quality nightmare, and cheri (who has left us tropical folks to become an expatriate in Seattle) is doing the sex ed. column and 'suicide note sad libs' (genius!).
Tina's ethos behind starting (and completely funding out of her own pocket!!!) this 54pg zine was that she had so many clever n' creative people in her life with no particular forum to publish, so she's doing it! what a fantastic gal with a fantastic idea!
the F-Bomb Zine is on my myspace top friends list (http://www.myspace.com/realitybender), so if you so-and-so's ever meant it about enjoying my writing (and more than likely reading stuff that blows mine out of the water), check it out, sign up, and Tina's footing the bill to SEND IT TO YOU FOR FREE!!! Let's make this thing a success...i don't care if you're "too busy" from being a workaholic or "too lazy" from being a stoner, this is for us and we should do our damnedest to make this a success. if the philosophy isn't enough, then consider me cashing in a favor to those of you who are in debt - sign up! Don't be quiet n' lazy, but tell your friends about it - start a domino effect.
