I should really know better than to vow I've returned... it never works out. My house got a flea infestation, so I've been battling that for the past 3 weeks with pretty much all my spare time.

Hope you've managed to get rid of the little buggers. Skin creeps at the thought of fleas

I got "Revolution" for the cat, and that fixed him right up. We've sprayed, bombed, and otherwise treated the house... but there are still stragglers. Two nights ago I actually found myself salting the cracks between the floor boards (apparently it dehydrates the fleas? I don't know, I asked Google) and vacuumed it up last night... and that actually might have worked, because I haven't had nearly as many near my computer since then. So, fingers crossed I can actually sit at my computer without being flea bait soon.

Fingers crossed problem's solved. Never heard about salting cracks between floorboards, but if it works it's a cheap remedy

I hadn't heard of salting before either, but it came up on more than one source when I went researching online, so I tried it. I do think it was at least semi effective. I think it most helpful in getting deeper into the floor cracks than the vacuum or the sprays were getting, because I haven't had nearly as many issues in that area of the floor since then, so hey, that's a plus.
