Remind me again why I sew?

This corset never ends! This quilt never ends! The sewing NEVER ENDS! (Usually I think of this as a good and fun thing... except the rare occasions when it's frustrating) All this wouldn't bug me as much if I didn't want to write and paint instead of sew right now... but there are projects that must be done by certain times. Le sigh.

I would be the wrong gal to ask, I don't sue (apart from loose buttons) ^^ I had a fairly traumatising adventure with a wrongly placed skirt part as a kid and still refuse to learn how to use a sewing machine.

Ok... I have to ask... how does a wrongly placed skirt part traumatize? I mean... I sort of know, considering I had a wrongly placed corset part almost mean having to sew everything again- but caught it just in time. But still, what was the story of this particular skirt part?
