[She was sitting on the curb, beneath the shade of a tree when she saw the puppy and lets out a surprised sound that she can't even hear. Her head is bandaged, mostly in an attempt to muffle the loud rushing sound that drowns out everything else. Her tail thumps against the grass, the motion jerky like there's something wrong with her motor skills.

It takes her a moment to notice him, and when she does, her greeting is louder than it should be. As if she can't hear what she's saying. Because really why else would she be practically shouting at him like this.]

Hey, Lancer! Who's your friend?

[...Well, that's a little weird. Lancer approached when Mika called out,the husky following and nudging at her hand looking for headpats.]

Yo. Her name's Siobhán, at least for now--planned on giving her to a friend.

[Her nose wrinkles and she squints at him like she's straining to hear him and read his lips. Siobhán, however, is immediately showered with all of the ear scratches and cuddles.

The last part is easy enough to guess, and she huffs softly, her gaze dropping to the puppy. Huskies were always one of the breeds that she was more comfortable around, and the little cub is a perfect distraction.]

Black Mage. He hit me with a lightning spell, blew out both my eardrums and managed not to kill me. Can't hear for shit and it's left me with tremors. Heh. [She laughs softly, pulling the puppy into her lap so she can cradle her and rub her tummy. When she talks again, it almost seems like she's not actually talking to anyone.] What's wrong with me. What isn't wrong with me.

Do you think it would work? I don't....really know how magic works everywhere. I mean, it's different in every world right? I know the only way this could possibly be taken care of is a mage, but this is still...

I dunno. I have no idea what to do or even who to talk to.

My Master's one of the best there is with magecraft, there's gotta be something she can do.

[A low grumble escaped her at the nudge, and her tail gave another jerky twitch as she looked up at him.]

[Her brows furrowed and she made a soft keening sound, hugging the puppy a little closer even if she didn't realize she was doing it.]

[Siobhán snuggled right up to her, tail wagging cheerfully.]

I'd trust Rin Tohsaka with my life. She's abrasive and troublesome, sure, but I have faith in my Master. So trust me, okay?

All right, but if she's the girl I think she is, I'm not sure she'll want to help me. I might be mistaking her for someone else though.
