holidays
set up the christmas tree on the dining table this year so that c can't get to it. and because the tree isn't near any outlet, i skipped on the lights and instead dug out the 10 or so ornaments i have that don't contain any small parts and aren't made of glass, ceramic, or wax (i.e., the indestructible ornaments). of course ulrike is fascinated with the tree and especially the ornaments. over the past 24 hours she has been very busy making sure that those ornaments do not stay on that tree. this morning i watched her carry one around by its string like it was a mouse she had caught by the the tail.
