i like that you did this for your classy bitch friend. i bet it makes her feel good that you take the time to think about her, since not many people think about the way other people think. they're too selfish.

i think that you are spot on about your friend. i'm sure she does like the complication of life and juxtaposing feelings of fear and love. it's probably nice to see that played out in front of her because it makes her feel less alone in the world.

i also think that she probably thinks it's realistic. things don't always work out, or relationships end and you don't really know what's going to happen. because the last shot of zach braff going into the house after sitting on the porch for days is just the same as not knowing what the next day will bring. you don't know, you just have to go with it. you have do whatever you can to make yourself happy, even if it means you have to be sad and hurt for awhile. because there are people out there that love you and you have to make surethey know how special they are. showing that love and also looking out for yourself is the most realistic thing one can do.

another aspect she probably liked was exploring the same topic from different viewpoints, albeit rather male, it still explored how different people deal with different aspects of love.

i don't think you are developing at slower rate, and i'm sure your friend doesn't think so either. i think you had certain things going on that have kept you from becoming too attached; whether it be shyness, familial obligations, or simply fear, it was legitimate and it's okay.

that is you. and i'm proud to know you. you have a distinct influence probably makes your friend slow down and really consider all the shit she is getting herself into.
