married!- and now in new mexico
so i am now the missus! and nearing the end of our long cross country trek, we're even in the right state! we basically took our time, stopped at this great little eco-b&b (http://www.wvbedandbreakfasts.com/inns/68.html) then dropped by CAP for a night which was great to see everyone, then...we hit St. Louis, there was river boat riding, and going up the arch, and me not noticing the arch because i was too excited about the pretty trees and all the birds in them... yeah i'm that girl., i should be the Lorax for next halloween.
then we hit Oklahoma City and ran around there, and then last night we came into Albuqerque. Today we hit up Santa Fe, and to be honest, i would love to live there, i'm normal there! there's a whole bunch of artists, foodies, hippies, etc, plus lots to photograph. its so cool to actually feel like i fit in like that, it was great. oh also today i saw a blue tailed skink, bunny, bats,and.... a hummingbird, with her nest! will be taking pictures of that tommorrow morning, have no fear everyone! pretty darn awesome, thats all i have to say!
so its great, though days of driving and such have taken their toll, we're pretty pooped and my dear man is battling one hell of a cold.
the wedding was beautiful, though it kinda all went by in a blur...i cant wait to see the video, so i can see what happened! i have some amazing bridesmaids....and friends who acted like them, who did some serious week of prep work that really made it all come together. and despite all my worrying, and fretting, and losing my temper at certain wedding coordinators who will not named, and embarressingly anyone else who caught me in a bad moment (i'm sorry guys....) it all worked out perfectly. nothing happened that couldnt be worked around, and we did have a couple of pretty funny snafus.
so tommorrow we finally reach home...and then the new life begins!
