Long time no update
Wow, I completely forgot to update this thing! Haha. I guess I got too caught up in myspace.
Well as of right now the wedding is about 4 weeks and 3 days away... that's right now I'm counting down! I'm getting pretty darn anxious/nervous/excited about it, lol. I guess that is normal though! We have a big portion to still get done, like pick out songs for the wedding which was supposed to be done today. We still are figuring out flowers and cake. I am getting my dress altered pretty soon, and I'm going shoe shopping with the girls this week too!
The house has gotten a little out of control lately too, so I'm spending most of today devoted to cleaning it up. It's amazing how big a mess two people can make when one of them is never here! I feel like I'm always cleaning, constantly. There is always something to do.
Adam had a full time job, 40 hours a week if not more plus his job over at clover. But seeing as he's only getting paid 8 dollars/hour there he's decided to quit. He told his boss that whenever they find someone to replace him he'll leave but he's not going to just leave them hanging like the last person. Since so many of the college kids are going back to school he's getting called a lot to take nights at the bar so he's sure we can make it on the money he makes there until he gets his good full time job. I've come to the conclusion I don't think I'm getting one until after the wedding because I am working more at clover too and who is going to hire me to give me a week off right away for a wedding and honeymoon? Yeah, right. But this job has really helped the past two weeks!
The pups are doing good, Rosco is pretty much fully house trained. We can leave him home for a while and we come home to no potty on the floor :) It took us a while but we did it! We made up a pen for them in the basement, since it's unuseable for us at the moment (the other owners never finished it so it's not really something we use right now). We put up gates and now they have a lot of room to run around and they love it. This way Rosco won't pout and eat our couch anymore! It's pretty destroyed right now, cushions are pretty torn up and the arms are chewed on quite a bit. We're going to be getting a cover soon, since we can't afford to go out and get a new one or anything. Hopefully it's going to look okay though. Ellie is really laid back now too, she's mama dog still. Always taking care of the puppy :)
Had my first wedding shower this past weekend, got a bunch of good stuff that we needed. Got a set of glasses that I've already washed and put away (lol) along with coasters since we had those on our registry. Got a blender, measuring cups, waffle maker, canister set (beautiful), a bunch of things I can't even name right now basically. But I am definitely excited because I have two more to go still, lol. Nancy is throwing me one for Russ' people and my aunt GiGi is throwing me one for my side of the family.
I'm getting back to cleaning though, still have a bunch of stuff to get done!
P.S. DAD - if you get bored since mom is away you can always come up here :p We have this nice little restraunt down the street that is sounding pretty good right now! LOL. Just give us a call :)
