Job Search Over
Ta-da, I got me a job! LoL.
Ugh, bad part is that it is at Russ' and it's nights. Not at all what I had been hoping for. But it's something. I start trainging on Monday, and then again on Wednesday and Saturday. I'm not too thrilled but it means money. And it's not like I'm hostessing either, it's waitstaff so it's decent money. I'm really nervous though because I'm not exactly the best person to be dealing with people all the time. It'll be fine though, it's mostly people with kids (which I love) or older people who always like to talk to me b/c I'm "cute" or whatever. Blah.
So hopefully I'll be working 3-4 nights a week, don't know how much money it'll bring in. I'm crossing my fingers I won't need a second job on top of that either. Another thing that sucks is that I won't get to babysit a lot anymore. This week I've sat for Keegan, Hailey and Olivia about 4 times including tonight but seeing as my usual days to sit are Monday and Wednesday nights and I train those and will probably work those night it blocks out babysitting.
Nothing else new for me though. Life is pretty boring actually. My sims games aren't even keeping me entertained anymore. I actually made my newest famliy have 15 children!!! It was craziness. I had my first set of genuine twins though, and then I forced two more sets into the family just to get it over with. And I finally finished my first lifetime want, the dad wanted to be "captain hero" and I got him there =) It was exciting lol. Now I'm trying to get all my children through college and get them into homes. I might not play all of them though =( Too much work. Can't wait for Bon Voyage coming out Sept. 5! I told Adam I'm going to go and wait for it at Wal-mart or something and get it right when it comes out lol. By then I'll have enough money due to having an actual job so I'll be able to afford it and not wait months to save up 40-50 bucks =P
And another exciting thing is that I'll be able to afford Cedar Point too! And possible the internet so I can take classes now =) So I guess working at Russ' will actually pay off, just everytime I complain Adam will have to remind me of all the benefits that come with it - money, school, new cloths/games when appropriate, internet =D Exciting!
I was also thinking that since I'll be working that I'll lose more weight because of walking and not being bored and eating because I'm bored. I looked into some different weight loss places like Curves and LA Weight Loss but the one I'm most interested in is the medical weight loss clinic. It says I can lose 50 lbs in 17 weeks and then 70 lbs in 23 weeks. Not too long to wait :) And for a 6 month membership which would cover the 70 lbs I'd only pay $180!!! That was the best price I've found. And it's closer than Curves and the same distance as LA Weightloss! I'm pretty excited. Hopefully I'll have enough money for it. We'll see.
But anywho, Kat is on her way over to hang out for a while and I want to try to call Mike and Sue one more time before she gets here to see what time they need me. Watch them say to come at 8 so I only have a tiny while with Kat. Doubt it though, Sue said 9pm last night so if he doesn't call I'll go over then.
I'll update on the job status and money status another time. Hopefully when we have our own internet =P
