snow over ovid, tsingtao, peppercorn ranch K.Sir.Dia

after i got back from colorado springs w/ inkchou, i stayed up a bit, pacing back and forth in the kitchen; waiting for my quesadilla to finish burning. cracked open a tsingtao, went upstairs and read The Art of Love, by Ovid. had finished The Solace of Leaving Early previously that day, and was digesting some ideas. Ovid seemed the next logical step. the nice thing about Solace is that its a novel that requires a bibliography; so many nerdy references... and while i'm reading, drinking like a proletariet, outside, the wind is howling. somewhere in pueblo, it is snowing.

finished sewing the image onto the coat, and a picture is on its way shortly. also, retracting myself from the university. again, its the abusive administration, the bizarre fees, the angry professors, the cold-fish student body. absolutely unacceptable; i'm not working for an education, i'm working for an ulcerous breakdown. therefore, its back to the community college. people actually discuss things in class there. its rather nice; the sound of a human voice formulating an idea. at the university? it's merely the same, tired, career advancement schmuzz; "i'm fresh out of high school, i want a 401K job in the service industry, i'm responsible because mommy says i can drive daddy's porcshe." spoiled brats, naive idealists, youthful idiots; i want to smack them over the head w/ the Broomstick of Derision, shouting "BAKA! BAKA! BAKA!"

erm... yes.
