I has visitors( ...from Japan!!!)
Here I am again!I have been wanting to find a way to buy a japanese manga called Alexander Daiou for months now.Well I managed to find and order it and got it yesterday per post *squeee*...If you are wondering what Alexander Daiou is...well, it's Alexander the Great of course. To be more specific the name of the manga is Alexander Daiou-Tenjou no Oukokou that is, Alexander the Great-Kingdom of Heaven or アレクサンダー大王 (the last one with japanese letters means King Alexander, Jun correct me, if am wrong ;))
The manga doesn't fall into the Boy's Love(yaoi) category, it's more on the historical and fantasy manga side and it's the interpretation of Alexander's childhood years by mangaka Akaishi Michiyo...Of course I cannot read Japanese so I don't know what exactly is happening and what is being said.The main characters of the story, as we all know them, are there, but there are some extras also, who must have been made up by the author. The good thing is that Alexander didn't come alone all the way from Japan. He had Hephaistion with him....hope he is not very pissed off though, I think I saw Alexander kissing a girl somewhere in there( btw Alexander looks a little bit like a girl too, but it's the mangaka's style of portraying her characters ;))
And since I cannot read Japanese, the only thing I can offer is some pictures I took with my crappy mobile phone camera...Enjoy!

The cover of volume 2...I like the green cover better than the red...Btw, does anyone find any similarities between Hephaistion and Asterix? He has a Gaul-like thing (with feathers?) on his head!!!Could be that he has psychic abilities in this one, as Jun told me a couple of months ago!Idk...

Don't you love it when Alexander gets naked for no specific reason? I know I do xDDD
Alexander is giving Hephaistion a hug...Hugs and spooning is awesome...but I wouldn't really mind if they did more than just hugging...Oh well, I ask too much!
