Chapter 19 of "Shadows Return" must be one of the most exciting ones in Lynn Flewelling''s Nightrunner Series. I was literally holding my breath and couldn't believe the turn the events had taken when I read it. I think that the scene would work perfectly in a film or anime(as the whole Series of course), because of the montage. Wishful thinking, yes...Still our imaginations/brains can work like cameras and produce very fine and dramatic images ;)
I am listening to Johnny Cash's "Hurt" which is a cover of the a song same name by Nine Inch Nails...I like Cash's version better(sorry Trent, but I think that Johnny WINS here)...The last minutes of his performance are hair-raising and makes me teary(or it could be pms? I am not sure!)
