Almost as good as nature on TV

After taking my friends Kelly and Andrew around town today, I treated us to Wazzabi sushi. I'm sorry, that's the way it's spelled on the side of the building. They make up for it with thier amazingly inventive and tasty food. It's a very hip place, that's why we felt so welcome.

I went into their place after dropping them off to visit with their new pets--a pair of South American tortoises. In general, reptiles are lovely to look at but hold my interest for even less time than reality television. These two, however, were adorable and fascinating. They're about the size of a large pocket watch with dry, wrinkled skin, sharp little toenails, and feet that are flat and round, like an elephant's. The thing I couldn't get over is how much their little heads and necks resempled uncircumcised penises--equipped with beaks.

I found watching miniscule, olive-drab colored, beaked penises eating lettuce endlessly entertaining.

Besides that, my cat all of a sudden loves to hang out with me. Maybe it's the Clavamox, but I'm not complaining.
