We had cheese and garlic grits with dinner this evening and they were delightful. Who knew?

Also, my brother, coolest dude in the Landreth Clarke family, is going to Boston University this fall. May he find even more fortune in Boston than I did in Tallahassee. Family dinners will be much less fun without him.

I was anti-grits until my mom brought a glass bowl laden with a mound of ground corn epiphany. This is why I occasionally try the things I dislike.

I can't wait until I can order a martini with the traditional garnish and actually enjoy it insted of pretending to.
