Medical school is for losers. This month, I'm writing 30 poems in 15 days. I'll edit in December, and have my application to Sarah Lawrence's M.F.A. program in Poetry ready by the deadline.
I mean, really, which would you choose - memorize 300 muscle attachments, or talk about poetry over coffee with Stephen Dobyns and Thomas Lux? I almost chose the muscle attachments. Whoops.
