Summary: Tony doesn't know anything about love. He's convinced himself it's for the best.
Why I like it: I suppose the amazing thing about this is that it was written so early in the game and still is one of the few Loki/Tony stories that doesn’t completely fail on the characterisation side for me. It’s intensely in in character, it’s not about Tony going evil, about Loki having been secretly good and nice all this time, it’s about circumstances and complex slightly broken characters that get shoved together and have to deal with it. They are both not woobified, but very much themselves.
The premise of the whole thing is that Amora hits Loki with a love spell during a fight and the first thing he sees is Tony, thus the enchantment makes him love Tony. It’s clearly not by choice and he fights it, but he ends up having to stay and live at the tower to be close to Tony anyway.
Why is it so good? Honestly go read it. The way Tony and Loki deal with the enchantment is wonderful and makes sense and it leads to both of them having wonderful character arcs. It’s so well written that I don’t even have words for it. It's also hot. ^^
