(no subject)
So I alreay posted a lot of emotions and articles and clips and such on my Facebook, but some stuff I just can't say over there, so... For the zero people who will probably read this, a few things about last night's episode under the cut.
First off - they gave us a final toss! And then another final toss! I went back through the archives on Comedy Central and the last random toss was in Feb 2011. After that, there was one toss each on the 2012 and 2014 election nights. And that's IT. Jesus I knew they hadn't done them for awhile, but I can't believe it's been so long... Back in the day they did one almost every episode or at least every week or so. They've always been one of my favourite things, because Jon & Stephen OTP. So adorable. Stephen could always make Jon giggle so much... Adorable.
But oh man, that final final toss at the very end? 'I love you Jon!' And then ridiculousness out of character. I checked the June 3, 2010 show and yeah they totally cut that toss. Dunno why, it was awesome and the fans would have eaten it up. But it was a perfect way to end the show. Of course the show was Stephen's baby and he worked so hard to make it what it became, but Jon is still an important part of it and always has been.
When Jon came out I legit screamed, because I was so happy that they gave that to us one last time. I would have liked a whole song with just the two of them lol but the group song was fun. I missed a lot of the peoe in the background, need to go back armed with a list! But the person I definitely DID notice? Keith. Holy fuck I screamed. Because Pundit Round Table! If only Anderson (and Rachel) had been there... And he was rocking that pink suit jacket lol.
