lgbtfest SPN fic "Four Years Later"

Yay, I finished my lgbtfest fic! Just under 3 hours before the deadline (aka 12am tonight. ^^;). I'm pretty happy with it. Couldn't think of a title but needed something, so this one'll do. If anyone has a better idea, please let me know - I'm utterly hopeless at titles.

Hi, this is a great re-telling of Ep01 I really enjoyed reading it :)
I particularly liked the part where Dean wants to interveen between Sam and his Dad but doesnt know what to do without making it worse; a great look at their family dynamics!

Oh, this felt so painfully real. I loved the retelling of the pilot myself, but the argument - the family dynamic there - that hurt to read, and was so skillfully done.

I like Dean's reflections at the end - about how much Sam had cared, how obvious it was, and I wonder what John would say to know that his son's lover was taken the same way Mary was.

Fantastic fic.

I'm intrigued about what would happen when John and Sam meet up again... dunno, we'll see if inspiration hits. ^^

This was really well done! The "Jess" character dying was even sadder, knowing that he and Sam had been together 4 years, and that he was the reason Sam went to Stanford. I imagine that'll only make things bumpier as he and Dean start hunting together again.

Aww, thanks! Glad you liked it. :) Don't really have any thoughts of doing a sequel, sorry - not sure where I'd go with it... but I appreciate the sentiment! :)
