making discoveries, over the course of a day.

for one (through LJ), Pacifist Warfare.

how great that this exists. a redemptive, poetic act. almost wistful.

two details that I really like, that make this great.

one, as Wikipedia entry that states that they fight normal combatants. especially nudists. the ALF rallied against the nudist foe.

two, the nurses who come by and bring everyone back to life. or so I thought. the website revealed otherwise. even in the ALF world, they cannot restore the dead to life.

and I had this image of the nursing corps on the battlefield, reviving the expired soldiers with tea and biscuits. like Valkyries but of life, not death.

on the T I contemplate this. could I work this into a novel, maybe? a group like the ALF. some sort of mythic reality. get off the T. run into Mister Butch, most famous street person in Boston, six foot something tall, bass voice the color of his skin, all in black, crisp new black new t-shirt of the Superman logo with US stars around, standing like a monolith. thinks: you've got your mythic reality right there.

edit

seems Mr. Butch has a Wikipedia entry too. personally, I always saw him with longer hair and always kind of standing there. not bouncing off of walls as in the photo.
