last night I had the closest I have come to a deliberate OOBE*/astral projection, versus the spontaneous OOBE in childhood and other OOBE's have all happened directly direct from dream to OOBE.
last night I fell into a hypnagogic state, into a lucid dream (it felt seedy and not pleasant, like I told lily_sword about in e-mails) and then into me in bed where I went through a partial projection. I felt an energy body, pins and needles and "saw" it red and blue for cool and hot. and then I heard astral sounds which sounds like an indistinct soft murmur or mumbling and (again) "saw" the noise as purple and textured into nodules.
the noise scared me so I retreated. it sounded like the noise made by living beings. years before, in a hypnagogic state something had attacked me and changed shape to attack it back, as Marvel Comics as they may sound. still, I did not want to take a chance this time around.
on waking up I found proof that I had not raised my physical legs. one, I had pants on and my other legs had no clothes on. two, I had them crossed, not straight. three, I had no physical strain at all when lifting them to above my head.
