again and again I come across the message that we must treat all religions with respect. last month I read through most of (before I gave it back to the library) Peace Pilgrim: Her Life and Work In Her Own Words and she said as much, too. and I really respect Peace Pilgrim .

I definitely think that the quality of gnosis contained in some scriptures is higher than in others. E.g. I think the gnosis manifested by the Gita is of a much higher quality than that in the Koran. It's an oversimplification to say that all religions are the same and say exactly the same things.

However, the paradox I guess is that, with the proper inner awareness, the Divine is equally perceptible in all things, though not manifested equally by all things. So if one has developed that inner spiritual equality, one is able to perceive the Divine in everything without any preferences, no matter how distorted the outer manifestation is. But it's very difficult to reach this stage!
