(no subject)
happy news. this Friday (technically, the early hours of Saturday) I sat down and worked on Honest John on the computer for the first time in seven months. on paper I had worked some on it (though just on part of one scene). as per my usual routine I put on Current 93 (the Halo album, straight through) and just worked on it.
yesterday while waiting for the bus and on the bus I tinkered on it a little more.
I still have a few things to work out which I won't bore you with. (they have to do with origins of John's curse, which I now know, and how explicity to get about how it came about) and John's characterization. (two separate matters, by the way.)
while writing on Friday I found myself writing one of those steams of prose as much to do with myself as with Moon. when writing I often find myself doing this. I just write about myself and put the thoughts in the heads of the characters.
I do not know how this will read in the context of the book.
"all of a sudden it started screaming."
gah, I want to go into detail about the characterization stuff.
