Не успели отгреметь фанфары по поводу "взаимного уважения" и "преодоления различий в идеологии и общественных системах", как "Ёнхап" зажгло... Стиль просто умиляет. :-)

Это ведь не какой-то правозащитный листок, а информационное агентство все-таки, но туда же, туда же.

Хотя сообщение занятное. Наверное, настроение у ёнхаповцев испортилось оттого, что они столько сил потратил на тиражирование слухов о плохом здоровье Кима, а слухи (разумеется) оказались "уткой". Мне тоже в таких ситуациях хреново, если мы в чем-то таком поучаствовали, а потом получилось, что вся работа - коту под хвост.

Ну и что остается делать? Чем сердце успокоится? Можно и вот так поступить, как "Ёнхап": ну и ладно, сказать, пусть ты здоров, скотина, но всё равно ты урод и страна твоя уродская.

North Korean dictator snubs media suspicions over his health

SEOUL, Oct. 4 (Yonhap) -- North Korean leader Kim Jong-il said in a rare public remark Thursday that he suffers from no physical ailments, spurning media speculation that the dictator may be in poor health.

South Korean media "report as if I had diabetes on top of heart disease, but that's not really true," said the 65-year-old dictator during a farewell luncheon for South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun, with whom he had three-day summit talks in Pyongyang.

Kim appeared dour and slightly haggard when he greeted Roh in the North Korean capital on Tuesday, sparking speculation among outside media that he may have developed serious health problems since the first inter-Korean summit in 2000.

The communist regime, lacking modern medical equipment due to years of isolation, invited a team of German doctors to Pyongyang in June, prompting media suspicions that Kim may have undergone heart surgery.

"We are inviting people so we can ask them to conduct and strengthen research because our research into heart illness is weak, but they are reporting incorrectly," Kim was quoted as saying in a pool report from Pyongyang.

"But I don't necessarily feel offended, because they seem to be largely covering me," quipped the dictator, who reportedly enjoys upscale alcoholic beverages imported from the outside world and gourmet Western food, even as his country is beset by chronic food shortages and a crippled economy.
