cabin

Got a heavy duty extension cord fo my cabin until I can get electric bid and installed.  Got a couple of really good leads, thanks to Beverly and Anthony.
Thinking about selling my car to save money on the payment, insurance and gas.  Go green in a big way.
Gonna clean it out and have it detailed and see what I can do.  It also has too many dings and dents.  Maybe I can find someone who's inexpensive to iron them out.
Gotta list all my record albums again.  Lost the first list.  Think I'll put them on 3 x 5 cards with the title on one side and the band/artist on the other so I can alphabetize them either way.  There's a store on 6th Ave. that buys them and I'm going to go check the prices they sell them for before I offer any records to them.
Still in contact with the guy in Alaska.  He raised kids on his own and is very nice.  He's going to be managing 330 acres that Ketchican, AK is planning for multi-use, everything from basketball to theaters.  They're also going to go for green energy for any project that comes up.  Sounds pretty cool. Glad he's got all that ambition.  I just like to be in my bed with a book, the tv remote, a snack and a soft drink and a soft blankie.  That's what I've earned!
Sears sucks.  Beverly and I went there yesterday morning  before we went to Eastern WA to get a headlight.  There was noone in the lobby of the service dept. so we looked around for headlights.  After a few minutes I walked toward the back to let people see that someone was there.  People saw me.  Noone came to the front.  I called them on the phone.  You could order parts but not talk to a person.  Beverly suggested Schuck's/O'reillys and we went there and were in and out in a very short while.
Today I went to Sears to take a video game back because Terry had already bought one for Ivan and I had bought it for him for CHristmas.  I waited in line and returned it.  Then a manager looked over the clerks shoulder and told her I had to go to the electronics dept. to return it.  The clerk had already done it and it was on my credit card so it was simple, but I had to go upstairs and start over.
A few weeks ago we were at Sears trying to buy a freezer.  There were clerks 30 feet away, but they totally ignored us.  After 10 minutes, we left.  I came back alone the next day and got the same treatment.  As I was about to leave, an older gentleman came up and waited on me.  I told him about the non-treatment I'd been getting and he apoligized.  He got the sale.  Damn I hate dealing with these folks!  That's why I need to pay my bills off, so I don't have to deal with these slugs; I can make my purchase anywhere, not just where I have a credit card.
The first thing I did today was go to the jewelry store in Puyallup to pick up the bracelet they were fixing for me.  When I walked in the door I got the look from the clerks that was the "I just farted in the elevator" smile.  I just wasn't their type.  The first time I went in the two ladies there were very nice.  I'll go elsewhere next time.
