Things have changed daily in recent weeks. It seems that I am going to get the baby grand piano and store it in Beaver Dams. I may wind up using it as a planter someday or even a fabulous headboard, but I'm going to try to restore it someday, but we'll see. The family has been more accommodating than I originally thought and that is more than I expected. Noone can stay at my mother's house and that is weird too. There is noone there and I don't think there's a "for sale" sign up, but it is off limits. I am only one of her children and I was not in on any of the planning for emptying of her house. I was told I would have a turn taking care of her, but that was really, in my perception, never intended. It was a stalling tactic to keep me out of the way until the real plans were completed. I am not angered by the decisions, but I had hoped for more input. A person can leave a will, but what happens before they die is not controlled. I hope my mother lives to be 100. Now that's revenge.
