psycho at rooming house

The house I was rooming in provided a nice room, but I was annoyed that they decided to paint and repair the upstairs just about every day I was there, and on one Saturday, clear up to 7PM. The woman next door to me was pretty low functioning. I tried to be kind to her and make chitchat, but she wasn't having any. The last two days I was there, she did a lot of door slamming. I figured she was upset at the renovation noise. I went downstairs Wednesday night to cook my dinner and she came down and told me to stay away from her. Fine with me. Then she started ranting about not cleaning up after myself and there was a coke stain on the fridge. I told her I did clean up and didn't make the stain, but I wasn't answering to her, and couldn't we talk instead of yell. She started calling me filthy names and giving me the finger and some kind of finger up the nose gesture. She started to make a move toward me and I told her to beware, that I was trained in self defense and used to work in a jail. That only made her madder. She told me she had been watching me since "day one" and knew what I was up to. Yeah, reading books, going to work out, reading, taking care of Ivan, reading and watching tv. Anyhow, she was so vile and close to violence, I packed my stuff and moved out. I spent Wednesday night at Beverly's and was back to Terry's on Thursday, cat and all. Even if the landlord got rid of her, she'd know where I was at and I didn't want to have to watch for her. I no longer felt safe there. I just wanted a home for my cats.
Luckily there is movement on Beverly's house. The bank is upgrading wiring and lighting and paying for it since they have a serious buyer.
