The one who seduced you and fucked you over and broke your heart in a million pieces and laughed about it:
Ranma 1/2. No, for serious. Why all the angsty suicide fics??!!!! Why all the butchered characterisation? WTFFFF?? -_- Such a big fandom, so few decent fics...Also, my first fandom ever.
The old flame you don't see very often any more but whom you still really enjoy getting together with for a few drinks and maybe a pleasant nostalgic romp in the sheets:
Stargate: Atlantis. Alas the canon has scared me out of the fandom, but I revisit it now and again when someone recs good fic. Speaking of which, has everybody read Written By The Victors by cesperanza? Get your history/academic bitching geek on. XDDD
Also, Gundam Wing, surprisingly. One of the fandoms I was in before Livejournal. *wanders through bookmarks*
The mysterious dark gothy one whom you used to sit up with talking until 3 a.m. at weird coffeehouses and with whom you were quite smitten until you realized he really was fucking crazy:
Harry Potter. Need I say more? The good fic ate my brain whole AND I LIKED IT, but the fandom is fricking CRAAAAAAAAAZY with the exception of a few corners I wandered, like copperbadge's cafe, or, or...well. ^^
The one you spent a whole weekend in bed with and who drank up all your liquor, and whom you'd still really like to fuck again although you're relieved he doesn't actually live in town:
Naruto. Possessed me for a semester or so in college, but I am most definitely on hiatus from that one. :P
The steady:
Ahhh, One Piece. Coming up on my one year anniversary, heheh. <3 Nakamaship forever! \0/
And can four months count as steady? Because Arashi (a jpop group...yes, I KNOW OMG) is looking like it's going for the long haul for me, though I can't declare it for sure...but it's so shiny and ghei and full of nakamashippy goodness and dorkery...
The alluring strangers whom you've flirted with at parties but have never gotten really serious with:
Ouran High School Host Club. Love the manga and anime, but the fandom, alas, is sparse. Or I'm not looking in the right places, perhaps.
The one you hang out with and have vague fantasies about maybe having a thing with but ultimately you're just good buddies 'cause the friendship is there but the chemistry ain't:
Hana Yori Dango and Hanazakari no Kimitachi e. The two manga are absolutely awesome. They also feel so complete in and of themselves that I don't feel a fannish drive to read fic or look for or create fannish material. I'm just happy to bask in the canon. Anybody else have canons like that?
The one your friends keep introducing you to and who seems like a hell of a cool guy except it's never really gone anywhere:
LotR. Floated in it for a bit and then floated right out, though not before reading through a few long long fics. ^^ Hobbit orgies aren't quite my thing, I guess.
And I'll get lynched, but Firefly/Serenity. The canon's interesting...but the only fannish thing that's pinged my radar was the crossover with HP. XDDDD
The one who's slept with all your friends, and you keep looking at him and thinking, "him? how the hell did he land all these cool babes?":
It's a tie between Heroes and Doctor Who, at this point. Live action TV whut? XD
The one your friend has fallen for like a ton of bricks and whom she keeps babbling to you about on the phone for hours, and you'd be happy for her except you just know it's going to end badly:
....I have no idea, though I'm really tempted to say Torchwood just for the hell of it. 8D
