Dinner!

I cooked chow mein for myself this evening, my first time doing it without supervision. Green onion, chicken, egg and wheat noodles. Not bad, it doesn't taste quite so flavorful as when grandma makes it, but the flavor's understated. I'm not sure I like the flat stovetop though, the heat doesn't quite radiate enough to the wok. But...yum. Chow mein and soy milk.

I burned my finger moving the stand for the wok, not realising it would get hot quite so fast. Anybody got balm or somesuch? Already got bandaids and don't plan to use them, it's pretty minor but i wasn't able to bring Wanhuayou 万花油. Mmm, the noodles are yummmmmy.
