It's amazing to see how God provides in unexpected ways. I almost have enough for a plane ticket now because one of my friends gave me $1000. One of my friends meaning someone my age, not a church or some wealthy church member, just a friend who wanted to help. Amazing. I guess I shouldn't be surprised because God promised me He would provide and that it would be in ways that I wouldn't expect. So far all the money I have been given has come from my friends. And my sister pointed out that it's so much better to get money from your peers because churches and older people expect something for their money. I know that the people who have given to me are just excited that I'm going and there are no expectations, no strings attached.
