(no subject)
Well, shock of shock, I have actually heard from some of my family now. I had a very nice "no" e-mail from two people. I have three members of my family coming who I really didn't expect. But, I have not heard still from my Auntie L or my Uncle N. My Auntie is obviously waiting to find out if my Uncle and his new girlfriend are coming before she decides. She has already asked him not to go to my wedding. I don't actually think he would come because he has bookings at the weekend and would lose a lot of money. But it would be nice if someone could let me know. My mum is furious with my Auntie though as she has not heard from her since before Christmas and she has reminded her to let me know. My Auntie is refusing to go to any family event where he and his gf go to, which is understandable, but also sad. Is she going to miss her grandson's christening, or her son's graduation?
Anyway, my dad texted late last night to say that he and his girlfriend will definately be there, but he wanted to speak to nan first. I don't know why, I am wondering if he is going to ask her to borrow the money or something. But, I did get a pleasant surprise in the end and it has reduced our numbers.
What I found most sad is that two of my cousins can't afford to come, which is fair enough. But their brother is getting married abroad the following month and because of that, neither can afford to go to his wedding either.
