so this is totally random, and certainly reflects my nerdiness (which i completely embrace), but i just learned that there's a horse named rhythm who gave birth to a horse named ethereal. apparently, ethereal rocked the shit out of the melbourne cup (which, of course, is a horse thingy, presumably in australia, that i've never heard of and have no desire to learn about). i just thought that was interesting. well, that, and the fact that i'm still awake and have little to do with myself at this hour. i've exhausted my dvd collection (i can't bear to watch "the princess bride" again), as well as my "best of the cosby show" on vhs. maybe i'll just put on "mary poppins" so that the music can lull me to sleep. plus, uncle albert is one of my favorite things ever. and, really, who could get enough of dick van dyke (also known in some circles as penis van lesbian)? he has, like, the best name ever. well, besides jamie lee valentine, of course. but i digress....
please excuse my sleep deprived ramblings. i don't think i've ACTUALLY slept since thursday. and even that is questionable at this point. so to all you praying folks out there: i beg of you to pray for my salvation from this wretched insomnia. or at least get me some drugs. and they better be good. when mary poppins doesn't work, there is little else that could.
just for the record, i'm wearing nothing but argyle socks.
