divine intervention
i'm fairly sure that my mood has not been this good in weeks. i went to court this morning, prepared to face my inevitable doom and turn myself in to the long arm of the law. the messenger of the lord, in the form of the district attorney, had mercy on my soul; and lo, how the angels did sing. god, i mean the d.a., recommended that instead of the 30 days jail time my bitch-ass probation officer suggested, i should attend 3 A.A. meetings a week for a 2 month period. hallelujah. life is good.
crazy things are happening. i just got a call from a friend i haven't talked to in months (and with whom i was never really that close) saying she had two extra tickets to the ani show tonight. what the fuck. ani. on valentine's day. for free. and i'm not in jail.
