Working for love instead of money
My eldest daughter and I are leaving in a few minutes to go to the Bishop's Storehouse in Columbus to pack groceries to be distributed to families in need. It's probably going to be an exhausting few hours, but we really love going there to work and wish we could do it more than just two or three times a year. Once upon a time when she was very small, and my husband and I were under-employed, the Bishop's Storehouse was the source of our food for six months. Now that times are better for our family, we are glad to give back for the blessings we received.... or rather, give forward.
