I read this over at anythingdisney and it has made me quite quite distressed.
Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. OH MY GOSH. Demetria. Please, I beg you. Please don't go and be dating/flirting with Trace Cyrus. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love Metro Station (my favorite songs are "Kelsey" and "Control"), but Trace is, gee I don't know, TWENTY, and as we all know, Demi is only 16. Total pedo!alert. (especially the thinking about "U" in bed thing...)
When I first heard of Metro Station, the second song I hear from them was "Seventeen Forever" (first of course was "Shake It") and I was SO sure the lyrics in the chorus went:
We're one STATE from being together,
But let's not ask why it's not right.
You won't be seventeen forever,
So we can get away with this tonight.
One STATE, as in how different states have a different age of consent. For example, California's is 18, while New York's is 17 (thank you L&O: SVU). So I found it very funny cause it was so creepy and just scream of STATUTORY RAPE, but that was just a song. This is real life, and in real life it's a felony.
So please Demi Lovato. PLEASE. It's cool you're friends with Trace, (cause I really do love Metro Station) but let's just keep it that way, m'kay?
