I've been alternating between fine and depressed, but consistently productive regarding work. It is also humid here--el nino weather year--but I only mind it in the mornings when I'm hurrying to get ready and clothes stick to me. How are you?
p.s. Perhaps someone can play for you The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt if they haven't already. I also greatly enjoyed Andrzej Sapkowski's books--the ones that have been translated into English, at least. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Witcher#The_Witcher_Stories
I'm sorry to hear you've been depressed. I've been there (still am there and will be all my life) and I know how hard it is to keep plugging away. I'm glad you've got a job and you're doing well at it. I hope you also will see about getting some therapy and maybe get a physical to make sure it isn't something physically correctable, such as vitamin D anemia. Therapy helped me stop blaming myself for things beyond my control, including abusive people and toxic situations, and helped me learn to cope with the things I can't change. I hope it will help you, too.
I didn't know The Witcher was originally a short story series. I'll see if any of the guys are interested in getting the books. No wonder the game felt like it had a stronger story line than most games. The Diabolical Spawn just finished the battle at Kaer Morhen, so we've only got a few more weekends of play left.
If no one wants to read the books, I have "borrowed" the ones that have been translated and can send them to you. You will need the free software SumatraPDF, which is better and faster than Adobe Reader/Acrobat, to read them. I actually want to own the paper copies now, though

Dan, the boys, and I are interested in the books, thanks to your recommendation, so we'll pick them up. I appreciate the offer to send me copies, though.
The spawn finished the game just a few minutes ago. He plans to pick up a couple of the expansion packs when they are released, but is looking for another game to play in the meanwhile.
Should I send you more ginger chews and other snacks?
Also, regarding an ingredient "hydrogenated vegetable oil," is that usually derived from corn or soybeans or harmful to you?

I usually avoid any additives or derivatives (such as oils, starches, etc.) that don't specify plant or animal of origin.
How have you been lately? I've been very slothful, doing everything I can to avoid going out in the heat and humidity lately.
