Wow....the madness of Holidays and other what-not has begun.
So this past weekend I decided to make myself extremely busy...
Friday Night we went and hung out with Robert and John. They wanted us to go see Rocky Horror with them but I got really drunk and Obnoxious. Like super obnoxious and started to grill Nick until he got really pissed. I mean I was somewhat excited at the fact that he has never gone before but without really taking consideration for his feelings I sorta fucked up and got rude about it. I mean it was all the way up in Encinitas and we really shouldnt be spending any money due to the fact that were heading to NY/NJ in less than 2 weeks. (p.s. SO EXCITED)
So yeah we had a great day earlier that day though, being it was a bank holiday!! We walked a couple miles into uptown and headed to have some lunch at the India Palace. I totally have Nick hooked on Indian food. I mean its fuckin delicious, how can you go wrong. So the walk was beautiful and it was such a nice day you really couldnt go wrong going on an adventure. On our way back we headed to the Rocky mountain chocolate factory and got some sugar free truffles the were tre magnifique! Only one carb you totally cant go wrong. We got home and started in with the cocktails. MMM cocktails.
So yeah ok lets move on.
Saturday we had a very nice day as well. I apologized to Nicky for being an arse the night prior and we wanted to go see a movie. We wanted to go see Capote cause Nicks mom recommended it to us. So we took our gift card and headed to La jolla cause it was the only AMC theater playing the movie. I mean we could have went into Hillcrest to see it at the indie film theater but that wouldnt have been as fun. So I totally liked the movie, only cause I mean prior working at a book store and knowing a little about who Truman Capote is made it much more interesting to me. Nick thought that Truman Capote was the murderer and not a man writing a book about two murderers. It really makes me want to read "In cold blood" now however. He was a very interesting man and quite the socialite. I was surprised to learn that he actually paid lawyers to keep those two alive. I wont ruin it but it was a very good movie. Two big thumbs up!!
SO yeah we came home and decided to relax a bit. the next day I volunteered to work some extra overtime on the holiday for Doubletime pay. 25 dollars an hour didnt sound too bad to me. So I got paid for 4 hours and only had to work 2. I was stoked. When I got home I just played some 80's on the retroactive station and had some cocktails. Nicky and Beth went to brunch and got trashed on Mimosas and when they got back we had some more drinks and watched Mean Girls. Love that movie. Beth had to go cause she was about ready to pass out so Nicky and I took a nap for three hours and then woke up and the phone rang again...Erich came over we had some Pizza...MMM PIZZA!!
So yeah this is where I am now...Im outta here Maria is taking me home WOOO!!!
