(no subject)
I just dont understand modern heavy metal what so ever. But after working at Ozzfest I think I've come to the understanding that most metal fans are either meth addicted party children or overweight and outcast white kids. Even harder to understand was that occasionally I would see a fairly pretty and quite normal looking girl with a giant obese sweaty boyfriend with dyed black hair spiked up with blond roots, a (insert metal band) sleeveless shirt, and army camo shorts.
I didnt get to work in the part of backstage that I normally do so I didnt get to see Ozzy. The one thing that would have made it worth it. Well I guess the money will. But man standing for 11 hours straight just hurts. Oh talking about pain reminds me that at one point I was tellin this couple that their passes didnt work to get backstage and then my eye started to burn REALLY bad and I started like tearing up like crazy and I had no idea what it was from and this girl that I just denied access to was so sweet she tilted my head up and poured water in my eye and made it all better.
Wednesday night I had a recording session with John and Brendan and their music is sounding really great. Really fresh for an instrumental band. I'll probably put up a preview track of them on my music site in a bit.
Im going to be stayin in Seattle monday so I think I'm going to go play at Trabant but Im going to get all my plans together this weekend but if I decide to go I'll be sure to let you know if ya want to come and see me play.
Oh and Im gonna be going by the name Argentina Ledford, thats my stage name alter ego. Except Im always a rock star 8^)
