I'm having so much fun reading this! I love the relationship between John and Ronon. And I'm in awe over your ability to take the very traits that I find so annoying in McKay and make them funny, and even almost desirable.
I really enjoyed writing the John-and-Ronon scenes. I have to admit that it did occur to me that I could probably have labelled this story as containing John and Ronon slash, without having to change a single word in the story itself. Not that I do see their relationship as slash, of course, but as a very close platonic friendship and comradeship that I, personally, find way more powerful than any "mere" sexual relationship, but, still... ;-)
I'm really enjoying this fic! (It's 3:30 in the morning but I just booted up my computer again to print out the next chapters... :)
The lantern slipped from his fingers and crashed onto the gravel, the glass shattering. It was… uh, a… a tactical decision - yes, of course it was - because the light would have helped his attacker pinpoint his location.
