What happens if I stop my paid account?
Yeah, so, I had automatic payments set up, and honestly I was never happy about LJ's purchase by the Russians, but I was too lazy to do anything about it.
I looked through the FAQ to see what will happen when I stop paying for my account, but since the answers haven't been updated since 2010 and 2012 (I know, right?) I was just wondering if anyone had done it recently and what I need to worry about.
I'm most concerned about making sure my Twitter account is still syndicated here, since that's how I interact with everyone now, and if my friends list will stay the way it is. The fact talks about "subscriptions" going down to 20, but I have no idea what that is. They don't mean communities, right? Will I lose tags?
I figure I can save the $19.95 a year and still use LJ. I don't care about userpics and I don't even know which style my journal even is.
*sigh* I feel a little sad about it, but everyone has scattered to the winds now. I don't need to pay for something I barely use anymore.
