I should post more often, except: same shit, different day, y'know?

First:

I know some of you out there are freelancers, right? Does anyone know of an online calculator (or something like that) in which I can calculate a specific hourly rate by plugging in numbers?

For example, let's say I get paid $95 an hour (yeah right). Using my time tracking software online, I work 4 hours and 22 minutes. I want to take that 4:22 and get a calculator to tell me exactly how much money that is using my $95 an hour rate. It comes out to $414.83, but I want to know this WITHOUT HAVING TO DO THE SHITTY MATH MYSELF. I can certainly pay for my time tracking software to tell me. I don't want to.

My girlfriend already helped me this time around with the dividing and adding and multiplying, but there's a reason I'm a writer and editor and not a mathematician!

Next:

  • I have been dieting and have lost 13 pounds in a month. I got on the scale and saw a scary number looking back at me, and thus vegetable and fruit eating commenced. Those 13 pounds barely made a dent in my largesse.
  • We are moving again (where? don't know) when our lease is up at the end of September. The people downstairs with their screaming children and pounding and stomping and yelling and fucking music are the direct cause, plus that this place has no sound insulation in the walls, along with the weird guy on the third floor to the left of us who sits outside and smokes some smelly cigar/cigarillo for HOURS. Forget having the windows open, EVER. He even has a propane heater out there where he sat during the winter!
  • This is the first time I've ever had central air conditioning (meaning we do not have window air conditioners, but a central HVAC system in this apartment) in my life and I will never live without it again. OMG this is the first time I can remember not being completely uncomfortable in the summer.
  • Still don't have a job. The contract editing thing I have going is only when they need me, which is not often. I've been looking for any office-type stuff, but have been unsuccessful. Maybe when we move closer to my girlfriend's job in another town I'll have more luck. As it is, things still suck.
