What I'll be watching tomorrow
I was cruising around Tumblr tonight when I saw a photoset from some TV show of a teenage chunky girl with a cute boy. I had to track it down and find out what it was since it wasn't tagged. Turns out it's a British Channel 4 show called "My Mad Fat Diary" about a 16-year-old named Rae dealing with depression and body issues.
I wish they aired something like this in the US. We could use it. But we're not that forward-thinking.
I watched episode 1 on YouTube already. There's only 6 episodes, so I'm going to catch up with the rest tomorrow.
ETA Annnnnnnd I just cried through almost the entire last half of the final episode. Good thing there's going to be a series 2! Excellent, excellent!
Also, I've realized that the "Mad" in "Mad Fat" is the British usage, as in "well fat" (I think?) and not that she's actually angry. Or maybe I'm wrong? But it seems that way.
