First, Supernatural. What a fantastic episode! I didn't have very high hopes based on the teaser, but it was a solidly plotted, paced, and scripted hour that combined the MotW with the mythology. I always love those. Bravo Ben Edlund. I had a feeling it wasn't one of the freshman writers penning this one. I would have changed the title to something other than "Everybody Hates Hitler," since that gives the impression that it's going to be a comedy episode. While there were plenty of laughs in this one, the title was working against it.
Second, I have a job interview tomorrow. I happened to go to a lecture/networking group last night at the Catholic church down the block. I didn't meet anyone I could network with, but maybe someone upstairs saw me walk in and is finally going to give me the break I need. Oh please, please, please. PLEASE. PPLLEEEEEEAASSSEEE. (I have had a constant nervous lump in my chest since I got the call this morning)
Third, Elementary love! Every week it continues to impress. I would like to see Jonny Lee Miller angry more often, please, thank you.
Fourth, everyone here is healthy and dealing with the constant snow and cold Illinois weather. We're getting used to it.
