Before I start, no, no one called me about the job today. I'm trying not to be depressed/worried/anxious.
Wow, this season of True Blood was terrible. Terrible. Please note that I am basing this from viewing only last season, as I can't bring myself to watch the amount of camp and corniness that has permeated the other seasons, other than the few episodes dealing with Eric's maker, What's-His-Name.
BUT ALL MY WISHES CAME TRUE TODAY WHEN I WATCHED THE SEASON FINALE OF TRUE BLOOD!
1. While I didn't like Jesus last season, he grew on me this season. I was a little upset he was killed. He was actually a fairly good actor. Although...what the hell was up with that incredibly stupid "inner demon" he possessed? With the pointy ears? And the bone in his nose? That breathed fire. LOLOLOLOLOL, SO stupid.
2. I never liked Tara, and I know her fate in the books, but I suppose it's too bad the writers couldn't come up with something for her to do and instead chose to get rid of her. Lazy, if you ask me.
3. I was cheering for Marnie this whole season. I wanted her to go all awesome witchy and kill all the stupid vampires. I'm glad she got some absolution at the end though. I felt bad for her.
4. I am disappointed that we did not get a threesome. That would solve everything, Sookie, you dummy! Although, in my preferred scenario perhaps you and Bill would be sitting on the couch watching while Eric and Alcide did things to each other, but I'm not writing this show, more's the pity.
5. But the best thing that happened this season was the very last scene, because THE ONE VAMPIRE TO RULE THEM ALL SHALL RETURN!!!! The true king! I assume (hope) they'll be using Denis O'Hare in between his appearances on the new FX show American Horror Story. Bill was getting too big for his britches. Russell Edgington is gonna clean house when he comes back. Ooooh, I can't wait. He's my vampire boyfriend.
I have no idea, nor do I care, about what happened to any of the other characters this season. None of their storylines were compelling enough to prevent me from fast-forwarding through all their scenes. The should have done something better with Arlene's devil baby, but that's neither here nor there.
