When I first saw it, I immediately rewound the DVR to watch where everyone was on the map. Apparently there's much more to the opening credits than previously thought.
As an aside, this is the same company that did the opening credits for Rome, which, if you haven't seen, you MUST put on your Netflix queue tout de suite. Gladiators, blood, gore, and luscious James Purefoy in all his nekkid glory.
