It's really because it's the start of Torchwood miniseries week, "Children of Earth." Please be good WHOO. I've been looking forward to it. My GF is a HUGE Janto shipper and was literally *bouncing* the entire time we listened to the third audio drama this weekend. She's super excited. All she does is read

Are you a member of a Torchwood media comm? I don't think they've ever promoted downloads at torch_wood. I usually have to go looking at Pirate Bay or mininova.

I enjoy TW too, but not as much as she does. Seriously. She gets twitchy when she can't check torch_wood for new fic!

I belong to several TW related comms...I know one of them will post a link. I've never had to go further than LJ in the past for *anything* TW related.

All I know about Torchwood is that it is a spin off of Dr Who and it has a bisexual lead character and that there is no rational reason why I am not watching it.

Oh you definitely should! It can be super campy at times, because the star, John Barrowman, is a stage actor. That means everything he does is BIG and LOUD and it's like he's acting for the people in the back rows. The directors need to reign him in sometimes.

But there is canon slash, which is nice to see, and it doesn't hurt the eyes!

Okay, to be fair, I haven't been paying that much attention to my flist, but...I don't think I knew you were a Torchwood fan! In any case, you should totally join the torchwood_ny group (and I'm not just saying that because I'm sort of a member and my best friend is one *g*). And let me know if you don't find the download; chances are, my friend will reupload it as she gets it from her person in the UK, in which case I'll ask her to friend you and you can get it from her. I had seen that group in one of my LJ wanderings, but never got around to joining. It's funny; I got my GF watching it because I brought over the Captain Jack/Captain Jack episode, and then in Season 1's finale we both squeed when Jack and Ianto kissed. She's been obsessed ever since.

I'm sure the innernetz will be buzzing tonight and I'll find it on a torrent. I just want to get a good copy. But if I get stuck I'll message you, thanks!

LOL! I'm actually not huge into Torchwood, I just enjoy it, but my best friend, and her best friend (who I hang out with a bunch) are both really into it. So she had joined torchwood_ny, and invited me to hang with them, and I said yes (because my friend lives in Philly, so I don't get to see her that often!), and then I wound up being a member! For the record, I think their next meetup (which my friend isn't going to, because it's a Sunday) is to watch the miniseries thing, this coming Sunday. But I'm not sure.

I couldn't wait that long! Hell, I can't even wait for the US airing, which is July 20 in HD! I'll watch it again then, but I've been downloading it every night.

I hope you enjoy it. I definitely have been.
