Krycek the PALz figure prototype!!
Okay, first, I didn't have to walk this morning. I happily cavorted down the escalator stairs (as much as a gal like me can cavort), squeed as I came to the subway turnstile, whoo-hooed my way through the MetroCard swipe, and didn't even mind when the crazy guy was going on about God or Jesus or the devil or Hell or whatever this morning!! Yay.
But onto more important matters...I won a prototype of the PALz Alex Krycek on eBay!!! Check this out...

Presented in this auction is an painted pre-production sample of Alex Krycek PALz figure, from of the line of X-Files PALz by Palisades.
As you know, a pre-production sample is a special preview sample that the factory sends for review and ultimately the product development department and the licensor review it and make any necessary changes in order to bring you the finished product. The term “pre-production sample”, however, is a blanket term used to cover many different stages of the review and production process.
This Alex Krycek PALz is what is known as a Final Engineering Prototype, or FEP, which basically means it is the last sample sent to us for review to show all the debugging and reworking that has occurred. Typically FEP’s are final stage prototypes that have all the legal lines and textures added and the joint work debugged.
Only 2-3 of these items were ever produced and sent to the U.S. for the review process and the figure in this condition, from this stage of the production process, will never be offered for retail sale.
Now, if all my Christmas wishes come true, I'll get my digital camera (*crossing fingers, toes, what have you*) delivered today. Amazon.com didn't ship it until the *20th*, and they estimate delivery today, but I HOPE it comes before I leave work!! The tracking on the package isn't helping to ease my concerns either. But, I'm just going to assume it's not coming today so that I don't get my hopes up. sigh.
But, KRYCEK! Only one of 2 or 3 in the entire country!!! A little itty bitty blockhead KRYCEK!!!! When I get it (and my camera, *eventually*) I'll take all sorts of photos. I hope whoever I outbid wasn't on my Flist!
