I didn't get a chance to watch the Mad Men season finale on Sunday, so I caught up last night. I know like three people on my Flist watch, which means this'll be short without spoilers.
The best part about the entire episode was Vincent Kartheiser. I know many fans disliked him on Angel (which I never understood; I thought he was great), and at first his character Pete Campbell bugged the hell out of me. But this season we've seen a freshly nuanced version of Pete that didn't annoy me, and his performance in the season finale was actually touching. I even kind of felt sorry for him. Wow, show, how did that happen?
And for the three of you out there who do watch, they are still negotiating for a Season 3. I hope the negotiations are fruitful, as I've come to love the cad Don Draper and all his Sterling Cooper brethren. If you go over to
TV Tattle.com and search for the Monday, October 27 header, you'll find a bunch of links to the show.
Oh, and of course, here's Don Draper's handy guide to picking up women. I especially like his 6-hour lunch suggestion. (If that Best Buy ad annoys you just roll over and close the box in the upper right corner. Piece of shite thing!)
