I kinda love that word, "ephemera." It sounds nice. Just like one of my other favorite words, "perspicacity"!
Stupid CW promo monkeys! I am never spoiled, so here the promo monkeys made me think last night's episode would be all angsty and stuff when it really wasn't. Far from it. I also thought this week's was much better than last week's.
Spleen juice! "I'm a dick?" The part with the cat. LOL! I loved the little in-joke when Dean was hallucinating and reading the bolded words in the book about the crying thing. Hee. There were some moments where I was really laughing at the faces he was making. Nice little change-up for Ackles; I'm sure he appreciated having fun with the episode. Interestingly enough, I really loved the scene when they first come upon, um, Big Guy Who Got Dragged To Death in the sawmill. Dean and his "I'll be in charge of the flashlight" was great, but when he saw the ghost in the corner, he really, really looked scared. Fantastic job by Ackles in that scene. I also liked the Mother Hen version of Sam in this episode. "Quit picking at that!" LOL!
I spoiled myself flipping through the new TV Guide last night. I didn't even read the article -- it was a photo. No biggie, just a photo of the new character coming on the show, which I'm sure everyone knows about already. The actor playing said character made me happy though, since he used to be on The Wire.
When I got in to work this morning the first thing I needed to do (still enjoying a post-Supernatural high) was to change my desktop wallpaper. My old one was for Mad Men and I had grown bored of it. So, I went searching on Google to find something nice. I was disappointed at the work at first, until I stumbled upon a Google-linked image from
galathea_snb's journal. Now "Renegade" (
from this journal post) is my desktop.
Here's a link to her Supernatural art tag if you're so inclined.
