I GOT THE JOB!
Sam at Old Navy called me this morning, and offered me the job! $8.25/hour, and I start my orientation from 10-2 on Sunday. It's really only guaranteed until September 14th, since she hires for seasonal, but with everyone going back to school, and me not, there's a good chance my availability will work out. Am going to work my ass off to be a good employee, too, because I got along with Sam (the general manager) really well, and it seems like it's going to be a super fun place to work.
Also had a blast at gangstavidel's place this weekend. Got face raped by a tinyfluffypuppy, illegally border jumped into Canada, took a lot of retarded videos and pictures, and generally had a blast. LOEV YOU GUYS.
Laptop powercord is STILL NOT HERE am going to call Best Buy and be grumpy in a bit. :\ But not having my laptop back yet means I'll be less distracted by internets and can help get ready for the party this weekend.
SPEAKING OF: GUUUUYS. LET ME KNOW IF YOU'RE COMING, AND WHAT YOU'RE BRINGING. I've only really heard for certain from like, 4 people. Out of like. 20-something people on the FList that I had in mind. This is gonna be my last chance to hang out with people before they all go back to school, and I start a new job, so I'd really love to see everyone. (Krista, I know you have PSU people's emails from your party, so if you could do me a huge favour and check with all the guys and Roxxy for me, I'd love you? ♥)
As for food, Mum and I are doing burgers and currently discussing cakes (mmm, cake). Also let me know if you've got food allergies we should be aware of.
