I've been significantly cheered up, and am dead set on not being even the SLIGHTEST BIT EMO for the rest of the night. IT HELPED THAT RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY EPIC CRYING JAG, I got a call from Old Navy, and set up an interview Thursday morning! FUCK YEAH, POTENTIAL EMPLOYMENT.
Also, I hate the anon memes. I really do. I've done them before, but they seem to just cause more angst than is needed. So I'm taking a cue from eizra and posting an ENTIRELY POSITIVE ONE full of things that I either am too shy to say to people directly, or just haven't ever had a chance to.
1) I adore you. I really do. You're one of the most amazing, selfless, wonderful people I have ever had the privilege of calling one of my best friends. All I want for you is to be truly happy again, and hope that happens for you soon.
2) I sometimes feel like you push me aside for "cooler people", but I don't think you actually do - it's very likely just my paranoia. I miss being as close to you as I used to be, though, because you're absolutely fantastic.
3) I will never stop feeling bad about certain mistakes I've made in our friendship, even though I know you've forgiven me. I was wretched, and you didn't deserve that. I'm glad our friendship has survived through crap like that, because I don't know what I would do without you.
4) I MISS YOU even if we're not into the same fandoms anymore, I'm sad that you're not as active on LJ as you used to be.
5) You and I are going to cause some amazing mayhem, and I look forward to it so much. Let's try not to burn anything down, or at least not get caught if we do.
